Kuku Pot disappeared from your inventory? It was probably used up
Your Kuku Pot vanished after upgrading at the Kuku inventor? It's used as a crafting ingredient. Craft a new one and your stored items are still there.
Steps
- Check whether you crafted or upgraded something at the Kuku inventor. Some of the Kuku inventor's builds and upgrades use a regular Kuku Pot as an ingredient. If you made one, that's where your pot went. You can see this in the ingredient list in his menu.
- Craft a new Kuku Pot. Open the same inventor's crafting menu and build a new Kuku Pot. You can also send one of your Greymanes to make it as a mission at the same location.
- Open the new pot to get your stored items back. The pot is just a way to reach your stored items. Players who crafted a replacement found everything they had put in the old pot was still there.
The problem: the Kuku Pot you got in Chapter 4 is suddenly gone. It’s not in your bag or your personal storage, and older saves don’t help because they’re all from after it disappeared.
What’s going on: a plain Kuku Pot is an ingredient in some of the Kuku inventor’s builds. Crafting or upgrading one of those uses the pot up. The player who asked agreed that’s what had happened, and others in the thread found the same thing. One lost theirs when crafting the jetpack, another when making the Kuku Cooler. You’ll probably go through a few pots over a playthrough.
Your stored items aren’t lost
Several players worried that the contents went with the pot. They didn’t. Once they crafted a replacement, everything they’d stored was back.
If that doesn’t explain it
One player in the thread said a new pot didn’t fix things for them and described it as an inventory bug. If you’re sure you haven’t crafted anything that uses a Kuku Pot, this may be a different issue.
