Crimson Desert Twitch Drops not showing a Claim button? How to claim them
Charting the Unknown Twitch Drops can't be claimed from Twitch's Drops & Rewards page right now. Claim them in the stream chat, then link Twitch on the event page.
Steps
- Watch a Crimson Desert stream with Drops enabled. Watch Crimson Desert on a Drops-enabled Twitch channel while logged in to Twitch until a reward is earned. One player only started getting progress after following the channel they were watching.
- Claim the reward in the stream chat. Twitch's Drops & Rewards menu can't claim these rewards right now. Look for the Drops box at the top of the stream chat and click it to claim. If the box isn't there, refresh the page and wait a few seconds.
- No button in your browser? Try the Twitch app. Players who never saw a claim button in their PC browser found it in the Twitch phone app instead.
- Link your Twitch account on the Drops event page. Open the Twitch Drops event page from Pearl Abyss's official notice, click Connect, link your accounts, then go to Check My Rewards. Refresh and collect each reward one at a time.
The problem: you watched a Crimson Desert stream, earned a Charting the Unknown Twitch Drop, but there’s no “Claim Now” button anywhere. Twitch’s Drops & Rewards page only shows “Connect”, and reconnecting your Pearl Abyss account changes nothing.
The fix: it’s a known bug, and Pearl Abyss has posted the workaround. The rewards can’t be claimed from the Drops & Rewards menu at the moment. Instead, click Claim in the stream chat, then link your Twitch account on the Drops event page. The player who asked about this on Steam confirmed that claiming from the chat worked.
How to claim your Twitch Drops
- Watch Crimson Desert on a Drops-enabled channel while logged in to Twitch. One player said they only started getting progress after they followed the channel, so follow it if your progress isn’t moving.
- When a reward is ready, look at the top of that stream’s chat. There’s a box for the Drop there; click it to claim. If you can’t see it, refresh the page and give it a few seconds.
- Still no button in your browser? Open the Twitch app on your phone. Two players said the claim button showed up there when it never did on their PC.
- Open the Twitch Drops event page (it’s linked from Pearl Abyss’s Twitch Drops notice), click Connect and link your Twitch account. Then scroll down to Check My Rewards. One player stressed that you need to refresh and collect each reward separately.
When the Twitch Drops run
The event lasts two weeks:
| Week | Dates (UTC) | Who can use the rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | October 29, 22:00 to November 4, 23:59 | Anyone who owns the Crimson Desert Enhanced base game |
| Week 2 | November 5, 00:00 to November 11, 23:59 | Only owners of the Charting the Unknown DLC |
The rewards include equipment, a pet and customization parts for your ship. If you don’t own the DLC yet, you can still earn the Week 2 rewards, but you won’t be able to use them until you do.
Playing on Xbox?
Pearl Abyss lists a separate known issue for Xbox: some items, including Drops and pre-order rewards, may not appear in the Add-ons menu and can’t be claimed. There’s no workaround for that one yet.
